During these two days you get more familiar to snow and avalanche safety factors based on Finnish FINLAV training system. (Based on Canadien CAA and Swedish Svelav systems) 

 

Course is basic course for everyone traveling on snow and creates a basic knowledge on snow safety. Goals on this course are recognize potential avalanche terrain and the prevention to avoid avalanche. You learn basic buddy rescue in avalanche situation, basic safety thinking around avalanche matters and get more familiar with weather and avalanche bulletin. This creates good and solid base for understanding how to handle avalanche terrain and should be part of every off- and free skiers skill tool box.

Price 320 € per person including IFMGA mountain guiding for 2 days. Finlav I Avalanche safety course. Avalanche safety gear ( beacon, shovel and probe) it is recommended to use your own equipment if you have them. You need your own ski touring equipment. Proper clothing, also warm clothes.
